Pro's Competition

This exciting new event will be held Spring 2009.

Ten photographers will compete for a $5000 cash prize*. Each photographer will be partnered with a Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and will photograph in that designated geographic area. The CVB will "host" the photographer by providing accommodations as often as is reasonable during the four-month event.

Each photographer will submit his best images and those will appear online and in a hard-cover book titled, Pure Michigan-Spring Scenic Places along with the photographer's bio, photo and web site information.

How to apply
Advanced-amateur and professional photographers are invited to apply. Photographers will be pre-approved to compete by a portfolio review process. Only ten will be allowed to compete. One alternate will be chosen. If you would like to apply, please carefully read the entry guidelines, rules and regulations. Send your portfolio, application, a signed photo usage agreement and $50 entry fee to Photo Competition Entry, Firefly Productions, LLC, P.O. Box 1014, Traverse City, MI 49685.
